# Recovery note — an inspectable version, with limits

The original locator was https://www.canalys.com/newsroom/worldwide-cloud-service-q4-2024. CCA's tracking URL encodes this exact destination. Decoding establishes a lead, not successful endpoint access or an editor's acquisition route.

During research, browser navigation reached the general Omdia newsroom. A direct request returned a 403 migration representation without the annual claim. Extraction returned historical text alongside 403/Forbidden metadata. That contradictory extraction was not accepted as recovery of a live or dated original.
